Dispute Resolution Services (DRS) : DRS Processes : Facilitation
Chris Leick and other DRS professionals also serve various groups by designing and facilitating meetings and other communications in situations where conflict management is a concern. Churches, educational institutions, non-profits and small businesses can benefit from such services.
A facilitation process usually starts with the DRS neutral meeting with the Board, Executive Committee, or certain key individuals, to gather information and learn about the group’s needs and goals. The neutral, however, will avoid any lengthy meetings with just one “side” of a conflict. We will then provide an estimate of the expected cost for our services. Once a contract is signed, the neutral(s) will work with the parties to agree on a process, and then assist the group in carrying out the process. The neutral will facilitate any group meetings and otherwise assist the group as needed.
